1. Information We Collect

When you use PostPulse AI, we collect the following types of information:

  • Account information: Your name and email address, provided through Manus OAuth authentication.
  • Content you create: Post topics, tones, and generated LinkedIn posts that you save or schedule.
  • Usage data: How you interact with the app, including features used, pages visited, and generation counts.
  • Payment information: Subscription status and Stripe customer identifiers. We do not store full card numbers or CVV codes — these are handled securely by Stripe.
  • Engagement metrics: LinkedIn post URLs and engagement data (likes, comments, shares) that you manually enter.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the PostPulse AI service.
  • Generate AI-powered LinkedIn posts based on your inputs.
  • Process payments and manage your subscription.
  • Send transactional notifications (e.g., when a scheduled post is generated or your daily limit is reached).
  • Analyse usage patterns to improve features and user experience.
  • Respond to your feedback and support requests.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

  • Stripe: For payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to data shared with them.
  • AI providers: Your post topic and tone are sent to our AI service to generate post content. No personally identifiable information is included in these requests.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data and generated posts for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records). You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

5. Cookies and Tracking

PostPulse AI uses a session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie is essential for the service to function and is deleted when you log out. We also use privacy-respecting analytics (Umami) to understand aggregate usage patterns. Umami does not use cookies and does not track individual users across sites.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
  • Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure session management, and access controls. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS compliant. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

PostPulse AI is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the app. Your continued use of PostPulse AI after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
